BRUCE WINANT
BRUCE WINANT (Senator Pete Bloomer) has had a wide and varied career
in all aspects of performing, from film and television to theater and recording.
On film, Bruce was several voices in the animated hit, “Ice Age,” appeared
in Woody Allen’s “Mighty Aphrodite” and “’til There Was You.” On
TV he will be seen in the upcoming HBO series “Carnivale,” was a regular
on the NBC series “First Years” and has made several appearances on “Law
and Order.” Guest shots include “The West Wing,” “Star Trek: The Next
Generation,” “Andersonville,” “Thirtysomething” and “General Hospital,” among
others.
Bruce appeared in the original Broadway casts of “Ragtime,” “Miss Saigon”
and “My Favorite Year,” as well as the national tours of “Les Miserables”
and the current hit “Chicago.” He has worked in top regional theaters across
the country. He recently starred as Al Jolson in the off-Broadway
hit “Jolson and Company” in New York City.
