MESHACH TAYLOR
MESHACH TAYLOR (Bruno)
emerged in the mid 70s from the “golden age of Chicago theater,” with
prestigious companies like Steppenwolf and the Organic Theater discovering
and nurturing such talents as Taylor, Gary Sinise, John Malkovich and
Laurie Metcalfe.
After moving to Los Angeles, Taylor continued
to work in theater but began to focus his attention on film and television
work. He is best known for his recurring role as Anthony Bouvier in the
long-running situation comedy, “Designing Women,” and he later appeared
in the series, “Dave’s World.” Taylor’s feature film credits include the
two enormously popular “Mannequin” comedies.
Currently, he can be seen on the syndicated U.S. television show,
“To Tell the Truth.”
